Are you one of those people that are always bored and think there is nothing to do in Medford? The fact of the matter is that there is plenty of things to do in Medford.

It is stuffed full of things that are happening all over Southern Oregon, from Ashland to Grants Pass, and that covers a lot of ground. Plus it has a really good Medford business listings

This event calendar is by far one of the most robust event calendars for the area. There are things happening every day of the week and you don't even know it. It covers just about anything you can think of as long as it’s legal.

This event calendar is awesome. Here is what I like about it.

1. The categorical themes make it really easy to navigate to things that are of interest to you. It covers things from community events, theater and performances, live music , Medford karaoke, dancing, classes, comedy shows, and many more. Which is why I like this event calendar Medford Oregon

2. It is searchable. Finding specific events in specifc cities is easy with the search function. This feature is really nice as it is a major time saver. But you don't want to narrow yourself as far as options with this search feature. You will find something that sounds interesting.

3. Becasue this is a community calendar everyone is allowed and encouraged to add an event. Although you do need to be a member to do so, but membership is free so you really can’t go wrong.

This is far from being perfect. And the creators know this and are constantly tweaking it get it there. There are some features that I would like to see that I think would make it really cool. Hopefully the creaotrs will find this article someday and take my ideas into consideration.

1. It would be nice if there was a notification system. If there are certain types of events that I like I wish I could get notified about them vs. having to check the site all the time. . That way I can plan appropriately. This is especially critical for me as I have young children and finding sitters at the last moment is tough. Now, this feature may be there but I did not see it if it is.

2. Get text messages about the types of events that I am interested in that are happening that day. Now this will probably make me sad more than anything as I will rarely be able to go to any of them on short notice, but hey, you never now.

Unfortunately I doubt either one of these will ever be added. It would cost a fair amount of money. But hey, I still think it would be cool if they could figure out a way to make it happen.

Anyway, if you ever get bored in Medford Oregon and start complaining about there’s nothing to do. Don’t forget about this event calendar. Check it out. I guarantee you there is plenty happening around Southern Oregon, you just don’t know it.
